For several days, you can find QR codes on the pedigree plates of our bison. Thanks to this novelty, each of you can use the free
PROJECT BILMA application (in various languages), among others. read the detailed information about a given individual,
which is registered in the Bison Pedigree Book, about individual breedings (including their location).
In the near future, it will also be possible to check the percentage share of bison-founder genes in each individual
and calculate the so-called inbreeding coefficient, which is particularly important for us breeders.
Pictures of the bison will be an additional attraction - both archival and contemporary. We highly recommend and encourage
you to familiarize yourself with this extremely interesting project.
