We are in a hurry to inform you that the President of the European Bison Enthusiasts Association (to which the Bison Show Farm has
belonged for 13 years), Professor Wanda Olech, who has been protecting the European bison for many years, has been nominated
for the Indianapolis Prize Award 2023. President Wanda Olech initiated and manages the European Bison Conservation Center,
which is an international network of European bison breeders.

 

51 world leaders in nature conservation, the world's leading award for animal protection, were nominated for the
Indianapolis Prize Award 2023. The Indianapolis 2023 Award has been awarded to the greatest champions of wildlife for 20 years.
The Indianapolis Award carries a message of hope to our planet and highlights the stories of dedicated people whose work
not only saves species but ensures a sustainable future for future generations. "The 2023 nominees represent the world's
most talented conservationists and conservationists," said Rob Shumaker, president and CEO of Indianapolis Zoo.
"It's an honor to highlight their amazing work with the Indianapolis Award." The nominees come from countries around the world,
and these individuals represent a diverse range of iconic and elusive species from primates and birds and many more.
The winner of the Indianapolis award receives $ 250,000 and the five finalists receive $ 50,000. Selecting Finalists
and the Indianapolis Award Winner is a two-step judging structure undertaken by a Nominating Committee and a Jury of
internationally recognized environmentalists and local Indianapolis representatives who will select the six Finalists and the Winner.
Finalists and the Winner will be honored at the Indianapolis Awards Gala presented by Cummins Inc. September 30, 2023
